Transition to Work Inventory (TWI)

The TWI enables rehabilitation workers to ascertain job-related limitations imposed by their client’s disability, identify the jobs most suitable for such individuals, and identify work activities and conditions that require accommodation or redesign. It was developed for adults with severe disabilities, including: moderate to severe cognitive disabilities, severe emotional disturbances, behavioural disorders such as autism spectrum and developmental disabilities.

TWI is a two-part inventory; each part consists of the same 81 items and a unique rating scale. TWI scores reflect the discrepancy between the demands of the job and the capability of the individual in performing those demands.
