Wide Range Interest and Occupation Test - Second Edition (WRIOT-2)

The WRIOT-2 consists of 238 full colour pictures shown to individuals to decide whether they like, dislike, or are undecided about each job depicted. The WRIOT-2 does not require reading or language understanding. The picture presentation reduces the confusion of mental images and multiple meanings that words evoke. The results graphically show an individual's strength in each of the 17 Occupational, 16 Interest, and 6 Holland Type Scales. The report can be provided to the client to assist in their career choice.

The WRIOT-2 can be computer administered using the WRIOT-2 Administration CD or manually administered using the Picture Book. Both versions are provided in the Complete Kit along with a package of 25 Reponse Forms and 25 Computer Scorings. Additional Scoring CD's can be purchased.

Use for various occupation levels

Occupational range is from unskilled labour to the highest levels of technical, managerial, and professional training.

Because reading ability is not required, the WRIOT-2 can be used with the educationally and culturally disadvantaged, those with learning or intelligence disabilities, or hearing impaired. The picture titles can be read to the vision impaired.
