Q Local Scoring and Reporting Software

Q Local is a flexible, powerful scoring and reporting software tool that allows the clinician to administer and score many Pearson assessments.

How it works:

• Q Local installs easily on your computer. Software upgrades can be downloaded from the internet as released
• Individuals can take the test at the computer or you can manually key the individual’s responses from the answer sheets into the Q Local software
• In addition to an annual license fee, you pay only for the tests and administrations needed.
• Q Local comes with a report counter that plugs into your computer and tracks the number of test administrations scored

Q Local is available as a desktop version or if you need more than one copy there is also a network version. The benefits of the network version are:

• Multiple users can access a single Q Local database and report counter
• Completed tests are stored in a single database for easy backup and reporting

Buying administrations is easy

Once you receive your Q Local software and have installed it, simply follow these steps.

1. Open Q Local
2. Click on Order Reports
3. Select your test from the list
4. Click next
5. Call Pearson on 1800 882 385 for your administration code

Download the latest version update

To download the latest version, start your Q Local software and click on System Updates in the left column on the software home page. If you don't have access to the internet you can request a CD version by contacting our client services team on 1800 882 385 (AUS) or 0800 942 722 (NZ) or email info@talentlens.com.au. Please be sure to include all your details including your postal address and a contact number.

Hardware requirements

• Processor: Pentium® III or higher
• Processor Speed: 600 MHz minimum, 1 GHz recommended
• RAM: 512 MB
• Note:  Q Local must be run on a U.S. version of Windows with Regional Options set  to English. International versions of Windows cause problems on installation. ScanTools® Software is not supported on 64-bit platforms.

Hard Drive

• 1 GB of free hard disc space required for StandAlone and Network versions with all components installed; 400 MB of space required for Network version with Client installed. 300 MB of space required for Network version with HASP server only installed.
• USB Port for the report counter
