Aptitude and Ability

Often when assessing candidates for selection you need to assess targeted abilities or aptitudes to determine how a potential employee will perform in a highly demanding role.

Our range of ability and aptitude assessments will help you to gauge what a candidate will potentially be able to do, rather than simply providing a measure of their existing knowledge base. We provide you with effective and robust tests of ability and attainment across a number of levels, all of which are appropriately designed to assess the specific abilities required for high performance in a range of roles. They can be used to add significant value to both selection and development processes.

Pearson Talent Assessment has a collection of assessments which measure critical thinking abilities, numerical, verbal and abstract reasoning skills and attainment. In addition, we have a range of tests assessing spatial relations and non-verbal ability, as well as eductive ability - an important factor influencing how people handle the complexities of the modern workplace.

Your choices should be informed by consideration of both what attributes, skills and abilities you are looking for and the context within which these assessments are used. We are happy to help you choose the right assessments - just contact us at info@talentlens.com.au
